We provide an estimate range for the work but because the code has been written by another firm we cannot make any promises that we will not exceed the estimate. This is because we cannot possibly anticipate problems we may encounter in the already existing code. If we are familiar with the script we can give you a much more accurate estimate, otherwise we will give you a best-case and worst-case price range with a cap on how much you want to budget for the work.
